Movie News: Third Batman Officially Titled "The Dark Knight Rises"

It's official, the 3rd and final installment of Christopher Nolan's run on the latest Batman films will be titled "The Dark Knight Rises."  No further information was expelled except for one simple statement, "The villain WON'T be the Riddler."

Many of the same characters from the previous two films will be used, in addition to some newer characters as well.

On a happy note, (mostly for me) Nolan was able to convince WB that filming will not consist of 3D technology, but Nolan is looking into making the film suitable for Imax.

The film is set for a release date of July 20, 2012...too long to wait, I know.
