I'm Moving On

Hey everyone,
So I've decided to leave blogger and utilize Wordpress for all of my reviews and ramblings I like to post publicly on the web.  I feel Wordpress provides more as a blogging website than blogger does.  Blogger has enough frustrations about it that it ha cause me to look into other options for quite some time.  And based on what I've seen of sites like "Girls Gone Geek" and other blogs on Wordpress, I think it's time for a change.

I haven't actually made the new site as of yet but I wanted to give everyone a heads up.  I will post my new site once I have it ready to go so don't quite following this one just yet!  But the site URL will be just like this one...just take out the .blogspot and replace it with .wordpress.  In fact, there's a good chance I might pay the 15 dollars per year to not have that annoying .wordpress at the end and have my own .com website!  Wouldn't it be nice to just have to type www.hereticaljargon.com?

Well, anyways, until I have the new site up and going, no reviews for Comics or Movies will be coming out.  Be patient with me as I get my blogging life moved over to Wordpress.  In the meantime, like always, enjoy some silly comic book photos found in Google images...

Even the men at Marvel can't get over Power Girl's boobs

till one of my favorites Batman spoofs

Way too weird not to include in this picture parade

Yet she's still got nothing on Power Girl

Even green meanies get theirs

Super fast organisms

Raven....really?!?

The Heretic's Blog Is Now Heretical Jargon

This blog has changed!  Update your bookmarks and keep your eyes peeled because this blog will no longer appear in your Google reader as "The Heretic's Blog" anymore.  I've decided to start reinventing this blog into something that represents my personality a little more.  There isn't a HUGE change yet, but eventually this blog is going to have a different look.  What that look will be....I have no idea at this point.  But one thing that definitely WON'T change is the dark and gothic motif...I'm just that twisted I guess.

So as a way of kicking this NEW blog off, have some fun looking at these very questionable old comic panels I found via Google images.

Blog Delay...Were You Expecting Anything Else?

Yes, I'm having to put something of a week to a week and a half long delay on my blog due to my job.  It's become very hectic and the project my boss put me on has taken a turn for the worse; some of it being my fault, most of it being someone else's faulted, and the rest being the fault of uncontrollable factors.  I've done my best to stay on top of things, but nothing seems to be coming together.  The deadline to get this project done is February first, so needless to say I'm towing a thin line.

I've got two weeks worth of comics to catch up on and no reviews are in site.  I'll try to post a few small things here and there but don't expect TOOOOO much for at least two weeks.  I do thank everyone whose visits my blog frequently with much rejoicing...yay....(for you my fellow Monty Python fans.) And I take great pride in this blog as it's helped me to earn a lot of free stuff from comic book writers and what not.  i'm not giving up on this blog, just need two weeks to focus on keeping my job.  Please be patient with me.  in the meantime, enjoy a few photos from the wonderful world of Google images.  Taking these images out of context from there comics is SUPER fun....

It's like being back in college

Does anyone see the smile on the smoker's face?

Why do all the older guys get the young, beautiful women?

My wife never says this about me.

Ok guys, tuck your boners away and make out with your girlfriend.

She seems so love struck

Nothing more needs to be said.

Christmas Time IS Here

Which mean's the consistency in my posts might be a little off for the next few weeks.  Wednesday I'll be flying out to Pittsburgh with Clarissa to see the family, but the next two days I have some wrap-up work to do with my job which might take some extra time...possible overtime, woo hoo!!!

But fear not, I shan't be out of touch for good.  My family plans on going to see Tron: Legacy and Narnia, as well as some other films, which means I'll be shooting out some film reviews like I did last year around this time.  But don't fret over my absence.  Enjoy the holidays, bring along Batman or Wonder Woman as your guests and get a smidge fatter.  Happy Holidays!

Blog Delay...will it ever stop?!?!?

Hey guys, so I've been CRAZY busy with my chorus getting ready for competition and all the extra rehearsals, which is why there have been no updates for a few days.  I'm super sorry about that.

I'm going to Layton Utah for the competition and my chorus will win most likely, but after this weekend I'll have more time to dedicate to writing and posting.  In the mean time, enjoy this pretty awesome video by my favorite youtuber, itsjustsamerandomguy putting an ad up for the New York Comic Con...

Please Be Patient With Me

Hey guys, sorry to announce that I can't blog for the next couple of days.  I have some things to attend to and my wife's parents are in town.  This probably means my comic blog elite status will plummet, but I'll survive.  In the meantime, enjoy a Nice punch in the face from the Caped Crusader.  (What?  Are you saying if Batman punched you in the face you wouldn't go tell your friends about it?)

Blog Delay....Yet Again

Hey guys, you'll have to bear with me on blog posts.  I'm currently in Kansas City training for my new job until the 23rd of June.  I'll be picking up s few issue's today and review them this weekend, but posts will be coming out slower than usual.

I also plan on seeing Jonah Hex this weekend since there will be no training at all.  I'll have two days to myself to see the movie and read A LOT!  And even though my fellow trainees think that is strange, I will be enjoying it very much.

You'll have to wait....

Hey guy, sorry, I'm currently in Iowa with my wife. My brother-in-law is graduating high school and we took the ten hour trek across the boring state of Nebraska to support him.  But this meant I had no time to blog.  I have Brightest Day #2 to review as well as War of the Superman #3 and a very late review of the Return of Bruce Wayne #1.

Please be patient with me.  We will get home today around 6:00 or 7:00, and my plan is to get writing right away when I get home...after I nap of course, he he.

In the mean time, if any of you have comments about stuff I should write about on here, please, comment away!

Christmas Delays.....

Hey everyone, with the holidays coming up, blogging updates probably wont be as frequent as usual.  I will still have access to the internet, but I'll be spending a lot of the time with family and friends for about two weeks.  I'm still planning on blogging, just dont expect it to be a daily thing for me.

But here's a Christmas greetings from the Heretic's Blog, Merry Christmas!

Sorry For The Delay

Hey guys, so as you've probably noticed there isn't a whole lot going on my blog right now.  The reson or that is a the holidays.  I'm very sorry but I've been traveling since Saturday and haven't had real opportunities to blog.  And it hurts me becase I have SO MUCH to write about.  But here I sit, in Barnes and Noble in Des Moines, Iowa having just come fom Half-Priced Books trying to figure out how to tell you, my faithful readers, that I just suck that much.  Just call me lazy or something.

The good news is,I have just come from my favorite store in the world, Half-Priced books, and found a TON of Wonder Woman and Superman comics I've been hunting down!  I now only have 20 Superman Comics to go before I have the ENTIRE 1987 Superman run.  I did knock all a lot of comics from the 1987 run of Wonder Woman, but I still have a long way to go.

And as my birthday present from my woderful wife, she gave me a $30 limit at The best Comic Book store in the world, Mayhem Comics here in Des Moines!  So I splurged.  I picked up some more back issues in Superman, and purchased the 3 volume of Alan Moore's "Tom Strong" series.  But I am going to start keeping track of the progress I'm making on obtaining my collections.  I'll be providing the list of comics im looking for when I get back.

I'll try to blog as often as I can, but untill Saturday rolls around, it wil be up in the air as to how often I post here.  But fear not! I'll come back from the holidays with lot's of stuff to write about!  In the meantime, keep checking back for more info on comic book films and other news over to the right, and look at the blog links and support my fellow comic bloggers.

Exselsior!

Delay once again in blogs

ok, So I slacked off a little this week, I apologize.  Just got really busy with my chorus and work.  But I've got some reviews to write which will happen both late tonight and tomorrow.  So, again, I apologize for not keeping with it!

Delay In Reviews

So I will be having delays in my reviews since I now have subscriptions to almost every title I get.  It's kind of a downer because, while everyone else is talking about the latest issues, I'm stuck with waiting two weeks until I can read my stuff and review it!  But it's ok because there will always be other stuff out there about comics and super heros!  So fear not, I will keep things updated.

In the meantime, I've decided to put out a request for writers!  I would like to have another comic book reviewer, one or two movie reviewers, and maybe one or two news writers.  All aplicants must be willing to write either about movie and/or comics and comic related material.  It would be nice to get a Marvel Comics fan in on the action to write about Marvel related stuff.  If you are interested, contact me at jamesqtrapp@hotmail.com or just leave a comment and I'll get back to you!

Blog Will Be Down!

Hey everyone, seeing as how I will be moving Colorado next week, I will not be blogging for at least a week, maybe two. Depends on when we can get our internet hooked back up in our new apartment.

Also, some changes will be made once I'm in Colorado. I'll be getting a layout, I like this one, but I need a change. Also, I wont be sticking to my 9:00 posting every morning on Monday through Friday. From now on, I'll post something once I finish writing it instead of scheduling posts for 9:00 every morning.

Anyways, thanks everyone! I had a few requests for certain types of posts so I'll be taken them under consideration. Be patient with me while I move and get settled!
